A.R.Rahman-the man's a genius..everyone knows that after the feat he received at the oscars...the guy won India its 2 well deserved,long awaited oscars!!!i have always been a huge fan,right from his days of "rangeela"...some of my favourite compositions are "tanha tanha","dil se","all rang de basnti songs","maa tujhe salaam","all jodha akbar songs","jai ho","o saya","dil gira dafatan"...
but i have heard people say(people -as in my frnz n their frnz) that Rahman didnt deserve the oscar..well thats got to be the second most ridiculous thing i have ever heard in my life(sorry but i cant share the first thing)....i seriously think the guy is the only original composer left here in our country...all others either copy the tunes from japanese,chinese,english, n who knows how many more...Rahman has composed songs for so many foreign films before this one such as "the lord of the rings" ,some chinese movie and many more...his talent is appreciated world wide...the guys is a prodigy..then y r some of his fellow country mates against him..yea,everyone has his own opinion but opinions dont win oscars,talent does...y not encourage the man..i seriously detest such opinions..n i seriusly think theres an element of jealousy or foolishness behind such opinions,or maybe they r just bloody "opinions"..i still detest them...
people should learn to encourage talent coz encouragement acts as a "very nutritious food" which helps one to grow and nourish his talent n bring laurels to his country n himself...true talent never goes wasted...
